I recommend 1 to 10 ratio but I may be going too far. Although, most aromatherapy schools recommend between 3-5%. Now, the best idea is do you own skin patch test using 3-5% dilution where you use 3-5% essential oils and the balance being the carrier oil. For children go even lower, between 1-3%. Personally, certain oils like lavender & tea tree I even use them direct. They are generally regarded as safe. Although dilution is the key. It is better to be diluted than not. To be more specific with the improvements: My gum line is still inflamed, but the shade of red has reduced significantly. The first day, I only used the product for two minutes before spitting, then five minutes the following day, and then ten minutes every day afterward. I began using this exactly one week ago, so the fact that the inflammation is already going down has been a pleasant surprise. Not only that, but little areas of my gums are beginning to slowly re-connect with my teeth. I can tell it’s a slow process that will take time, but I’m just pleased to see a process happening at all. My breath also no longer smells, something I have always been self-conscious about. If I had one con, it's that my teeth haven't gotten whiter in any way. Whether this changes, who knows, but I didn't buy it for that purpose (there are great teeth whitening pens for that).

That began an 18-month regimen of oil pulling that proved to be life altering. The first and always (for first timers, tentative, and short-term experimenters) the most obvious benefit is oral hygiene. The tissues in my mouth became so well circulated and plump that flossing wasn’t necessary (although flossing actually is part of my regimen); and my teeth, which have a genetic tendency to yellow (I don’t smoke or drink coffee) had never been whiter — not even when I had them professionally whitened at the dentist’s office. Did you know you can do more than brush your teeth, floss and use mouthwash to maintain good dental hygiene? I didn’t either. An ancient practice called oil pulling is also beneficial. According to Healthline, oil pulling is an ancient Indian folk practice that helps to freshen your breath and whiten your teeth, but there’s more to it than that.Always consult a physician or certified Aromatherapist before using any type of essential oil during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Reveal your most dazzling smile naturally with GuruNanda Natural Mouthwash! This Ayurveda-inspired formula is a safe and natural alternative to synthetic chemical mouthwash. It contains only the highest-quality natural ingredients: fractionated coconut oil, peppermint oil, spearmint oil, clove, tea tree oil, cardamom oil, oregano oil, fennel oil, vitamin E, vitamin D, stevia, and vitamin K2 GuruNanda Pulling Oil is perfectly balanced combination of pure sesame oil, sunflower oil, coconut oil and peppermint oil. Our Pulling Oil is formulated with Vedic knowledge and Modern technology. Although GuruNanda’s Coconut + Mint Pulling Oil has its perks, Dr. Dolgov points out that it may not be the best choice for daily use. “All things considered, essential oils may be a good way to control acute infection/inflammation but one should be careful with prolonged everyday use,” he says. That’s because just like with the alcohols in traditional mouthwashes, essential oils like peppermint oil don’t only kill bad bacteria, but the good ones we need as well. “It is best to ask your dentist,” he says. Cats are very sensitive and I have to be very careful in recommending so you have to consult your vet for that- but I would say tea tree, oregano, thyme, wintergreen- absolutely not!

Over time, all of the above can create a vicious cycle of toxic build-up that can clog the body’s lymphatic system, which affects every organ and cell in the human body. An unhealthy lymphatic system cannot easily absorb or discharge unwanted body fat, carry away excess body fluids and toxins, or heal inflammation of the body’s muscular, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, endocrine and nervous systems. This dysfunction is what leads to health problems such as weight gain, migraines, aching joints, constipation, energy loss, mental fog, mental confusion, mood change, insomnia, restlessness, muscular spasms, a weakened immune system and nausea. When I first put the oil in my mouth it was clear. When I spit it out, it was yellow, which made me feel validated that the process actually did help to rid my mouth of the bacteria that the toothbrush can’t fight. After I finished oil pulling, I noticed that I didn’t feel as much plaque on my teeth. It doesn’t have a bad taste or smell at all. It actually has a minty taste to it thanks to the peppermint oil. The Guru Nanda oil also comes with a tongue scraper as well due to it being recommended to scrape your tongue after you finish oil pulling. antioxidant, fragrance ingredient, skin-conditioning agent - miscellaneous;skin-conditioning agent - occlusive, skin conditioning
