I've not yet worked out what I could be doing wrong. I've also not tried turning it off and on again, but I did have it do a reboot which is almost the same thing. on the master – I do not know if that would make any difference...... as that does not really set the local time zone from my understanding. it is possible to establish a LAN connection to the FRITZ!Box from where the FRITZ!Repeater is being used, for example using the cabling in your home.

Is it showing as part of the MESH? Perhaps a factory defaults reset of the 3000 , then remove it from the MESH and re-imclude it using WPS on both your 3000 and 7490. Just set-up access profiles for their individual devices and leave the Wi-Fi on fulltime for everyone else? Improved assistent for inital setup and the change of the connetion type (LAN connection / WiFi connection) Have a bit of a think about it for a moment...............If the 3000 WiFi is disabled, how would it detect the 7490 WiFi is enabled?
