Holy shit. Holy shit. Holy shit. She did that. She freaking did that. I can't believe it. I went from an apprehensive reader to a rina-kent-can-have-all-my-money-for-this-masterpiece reader. She is that good people! One thing I really liked about this book, as well as the others is the supporting characters. I love the four horsemen. Xander is known as the horseman war which is fitting because he is full of anger. Ronan is a great guy in this one and he sets out to make Xander jealous throughout the book by dating Kim. Aiden and Cole even jump in to help a few times to try to get Xander to make a move or at least do something different.

STORY: Reality doesn't sell books. Put a teenager on the cover and you get limited interest. Put on a hot AF cover model and the readers will be so busy drooling they won't care how old he is. He's hot AF and he appeals to all ages! Keira IS fabulous. And you can't go wrong with Shane East because he's hot AF too, and I don't just mean his voice. *swoon* And thank goodness he's NOT actually 17, amIright?! Book Genre: Abuse, Contemporary, Contemporary Romance, Dark, Health, High School, Mental Health, New Adult, Romance, Sociology, Sports, Young Adult i was seriously loving this AND Cole before this interaction. i knew Elsa hit Silver before I started the book, but i didn’t know Silver was pregnant when it happened and that Cole was the orchestrator. it ruined his character for me.

See a Problem?

Silver didn’t deserve that. she was a bitch but so was everyone else. so if she “deserved” it, everyone else deserved a punch to the face too.

The gelato is now dripping on the ground, and I would usually devour it all, but my entire focus is on Xan and how he can’t stop sobbing. Personally young adult, high school bully romance is not my go to book. My only reason I chose this book was because it was narrated by my favourite narrator Shane East. New-to-me narrator Keira Stevens and Mr. East narrations were exceptionally good. They were so good that I find it harder to listen to Chapter 19 to 20, I had to take a pause before continuing with this book. Again the book was being repetitive. I wanted some more angst and drama. Not the same thing again and again and again. I was going to give this book 2 stars but then the whole Doll master thing took me by surprise so I Increased the rating. the chapter that y'all would have to look out for is chapter 19. also, the author mentions these triggers right at the beginning and i APPRECIATE that. I loved how they healed each other together. They could not have been more perfect for each other. Their journey was heartbreaking to watch but am glad they got through it. Their story is one am not going to be forgetting for a while. Kimberly is going to have a special place in my heart forever. The author proved yet again that she’s BRILLIANT.S-she won’t! She said she doesn’t want me and Dad anymore.” His lower lip trembles, even as he tries to stop crying by turning away from me. He’s in pain and I don’t like it when he’s in pain. I don’t like it when anyone is in pain, but I hate it more when it’s him. This story is raw and real- and Rina doesn’t just scratch the surface of dark and heavy subjects or experiences as an exploitative plot device. Rather, she brings them front and center, unmasks and exposes them and asks us to sit in them as our characters do- to breathe their air. This story hurts, it's painful, it's visceral- but in that you find emotional resonance, some peace and hope- either because you see aspects of your own journey or because she has so richly, tenderly and carefully crafted dimensional characters whose feelings have almost become your own. (or in my case, both). That said, there are multiple triggering subject matters dealt with- this is not sensationalized, it feels personal and gritty and real. Rina has been very proactive in sharing a warning with this book, which some readers may need to heed.

The sex was boring. They became boring and honestly I just lost complete interest in their relationship not even half way through the book. Ronan accepted Kim and was friendly to her but Xander wouldn’t talk to her unless it was to say something mean and it seemed that she would never be forgiven for what she did seven years ago. I wondered throughout the last few books what it was that Kim could have done that was so bad. I am not sure if I was disappointed or not in this book and the revelations.Ruthless Empire is the sixth book of the 'Royal Elite' series by the best selling author Rina Kent. Told in dual perspectives , this book was literally RINA KENT at her damn best!!

Desde que leí el libro de Levi y Astrid y salió Kim empecé a leer las sinopsis y ansiaba este libro y no me decepcionó, es tan atrapante, adictivo que no dormí hasta que lo terminé Y LITERAL NO DORMÍ me dieron las 7 am. did i like him? ehh i feel like he should've done more grovelling. did i like him more than Aiden? ehh it's not him, it's me. i guess i have a thing for heartless assholes who's a jerk to everyone except the heroine. one thing i liked about Xander is that he is a NOT a ho. I REPEAT. he is NOT a ho. he is a ( spoiler) So we're sadly arrived at the end of this beautiful series that made us question our sanity , fall in love and sometimes angry than ever with some charters but i wouldn't change a thing .Oh, and one thing I absolutely wanted to read more of is about how Xander dealt with his attraction with his REDACTED for 7 years before he found out the truth.
