Sandpaper or even those green pot scrubbers will be too rough and will scratch the surface of your tile, even if you have really raw stone tile like we have. It can also be used to remove mortar and cement residues from terracotta, concrete and other types of natural stone such as limestone and sandstone. If the grout haze has hardened and does not come off with a scrubbing tool, use a mild vinegar and water cleaner.
