It was a guy magnet back in my college days and I know you don’t need a guy magnet factor to love a perfume but it doesn’t hurt when guys like what you wear especially if they have to smell it on you all day too. My sister wore this when I was younger, and eventually I started wearing the body spray as it reminded me quite a bit of fresh laundry (I always thought this fragrance smelled amazing). In 2000 I was 3 so I don’t really remember the early years lol but I can sure as hell remember the time when Britney dropped the Toxic music video. The pear is there to bring sweetness, but I wouldn't immediately know there's pear in there if I didn't read the notes first.

The smell makes me think of barbies, toy makeup, and plastic both because of the vibe of the smell and because there's literally a strong artificial/plastic smell to it (not sure what it is). It’s a nice mix between aquatic and sweet, which makes it perfect for high temperatures if you love sweet fragrances but you don’t want to feel cloyed. The Curious woman is romantic, independent and mischievous, one who′s not afraid of risk and is aimed at twenty something attitude. This is the scent that got me started with perfume collecting, especially celebs, now I have a bunch of her perfumes in my collection.

I also heard someone say this is what they would imagine britney would wear, and I would have to completely agree! Putting it simply, it's a floral, fresh fragrance with a nostalgic quality to it, not just due to it being almost 20 years old, but because I recognize it from some *thing*, not someone, from my childhood years. For light intensity: spray in a cloud around your head and shoulders, let the fragrance fall gently around you. I love it but all I can think of is middle school which isn’t the best feeling for those who didn’t have a decent middle school experience. Someone mentioned how they wish it had more sweetness, it's almost vegetal to my nose, but in a pleasant way nonetheless.

There is something about Curious that radiates and I get a lot of compliments, more then any other scent I own (21 scents). Curious LOVES heat - the long hot summer really showcases everything beautiful about it, but to me it’s a year-round, all ages perfume. Doesn’t last long but it’s not something I feel bad dousing myself with, but boy does it make me sneeze!This reminds me of my mom or grandma because of the floral notes, the Jasmine and Tuberose really stands out to me when this perfume hits the middle notes. When wearing it, I can picture myself in Louisiana, relaxing on swinging seat, under a huge shady tree. I bought it again not only for the nostalgia but also because it was a beautiful perfume for spring and summer.

It’s an aquatic floral that doesn’t rely too much on water Lily or lotus so the florals aren’t watery and the pear is what’s providing the sweet watery vibe. Sadly the bottle is a shadow of its former self, with a cheap, tacky blue plastic atomizer, and no crystal heart charms adorning the neck. I will get wafts of this through the day and sometimes it's nice and other times it's the bathroom cleaner again, mostly if i sprayed it on my clothes so i just keep this one on my skin.EDIT***** after contacting the seller they suggested I wait a few days to see if it smelt better( I was thinking what will that do? This was my sister's very first signature perfume, and it has matured with grace and poise much like she has. Would also do well in the heat as it is fresh and crisp from the greenish, slightly aquatic pear note. Britney Spears Curious is a soft, sensual, feminine fragrance, with remnants of Britney′s home town of Louisiana.

They aren’t direct dupes by any means, but this is the little sister / daughter of L’eau D’Issey by Issey Miyake. I love this perfume but I really really wanted the mist and couldn’t find it anywhere so I was so glad to find it here! I rated it as okay, only because it's not my type but I could see a lot of people liking it Silage I would say is 6feet. popular more current perfumes, such as Daisy, Alien, etc (none of which I find anywhere near as likeable as Curious - in fact, some are downright awful, like Alien! I usually use it once, remember I don't like it, forget about it, and then repeat a year or two later.
