Description

Bassface produces a highly developed range of 12v automotive amplifiers that will allow you to power any audio system with ease. I watched people on YouTube set the gains when using a bass knob, and the knob should be set to max when you set your gain. You can use an oscilloscope to check the output wave if you have one available or, a more common way is to use a multimeter and measure the output voltage of the amplifier at the speaker terminal and then use this calculation to determine if your gain is set correctly. Tone control circuits, associated parts and their audio shaping characteristics vary widely between manufacturers and even even between individual units from the same manufacturer. With the RUX-KNOB2 installed inside the vehicle cabin, easily adjust the bass gain of your amp while seated inside.

Bass boost knobs are generally not great, but anything that can attenuate the signal can be useful if you want to be able to lower the subwoofer volume. EDIT - see the attached from the MS-A5001 manual, it's not in the MS8 manual as I originally thought. In fact I am sure somebody makes and sells same already with earphone plug input, dual RCA output, since it´s such a common plain vanilla hookup. From replacement dustups and recone kits to complete replacement amplifier boards Bassface offers product support like no other brand. I know the Smart can take up to 4v but I have heard they run better on lower voltage so I limited it to 1. BUT if the volume does not change and you can adjust the bass down for a certain song and then raise it back up then it is doing the same work as a volume knob would. For example, if you listen to a wide variety of music, you may want more bass when listening to Rap or Hip Hop and less bass when listening to Country or Heavy Metal.

But if you have your bass boost on your amp on then it controls that but for daily applications nobody every uses bass boost. I've found a simple level adjustment to be fine for the most part as you're "normal" setting is probably what you'd use most of the time and when you want a boost you probably don't care as much about perfect integration anyway (or at least that's how I feel about it).

It´s not being used as "two Stereo amps driving 4 speakers" but as a single stereo amp driving two speakers.

The ideal mounting location for the amp remote bass control knob is within easy reach of the driver's seat. Bass boost type that connect to the amps bass boost circuit and gain knobs that connect to the amps gain circuit.

If you are new to the hobby, you can subscribe, post and view our wiki for basic starting information. I've always been told that kicker is "top of the line sound quality" and that statement is 100% true! There's a thin line to be crossed, when the upgrades to your vehicle increase your chance to get tickets by an amount exponential enough to stop worrying and build the fastest, loudest car you can. but i think for now if i tune it by ear and get it to where it seems like its not going any louder and set it would that be fine? ok this is my amp its the 2000/1D version and i thought i had a bass knob but this tells me i have a gain control what is better and what does each one do?

In the process of diagnosing it I found that if I didn't have my universal rca style bass knob connected the noise went away. Amp remote bass control knobs, also known as bass level controllers or bass remotes, are compact and user-friendly devices designed to give you precise control over the bass output of your car audio system. A bass knob at full tilt will be the same as not having a bass knob and turning it down just turns whatever bass that amp is connected to.If your subwoofers are distorting, you may have the input sensitivity (gain) on your amplifier set incorrectly. Makes me wonder what's different about the technology that's causing it or at least bringing it to light. I need to split them after the bass knob so i have 4 individual RCA plugs to plug into the amplifier's 4 channel RCA inputs. At Sonic Electronix, we offer a wide selection of premium-quality amp remote bass control knobs that allow you to fine-tune your bass levels with ease.
