Nell begins to see that her life isn’t so bad at all, in fact, she might even be a successful forty something!But Nell gets over her predicament so quickly that it makes you wonder whether it was ever really a problem to begin with. Yes, it glosses over certain issues, yes, it might be very 'middle class' in places but it's a good story with enough depth to have kept me engaged throughout.

Interestingly, despite its title suggesting a niche appeal, readers across the board can resonate with this book. The story although not fast paced is wonderfully Frank, it is both bitter and sweet, has highs and then lows, just like real life.Following the poignant and relatable journey of a lead that you just can’t help but root for, we bear witness to Nell Stevens’ disaster movie of a life. Together they begin to help each other heal their aching hearts, cope with the loss of the lives they had planned, and push each other into new adventures and joy.
