Tatsächlich hab ich mir bei dem Buch irgendwie was anderes vorgestellt, wieso weiß ich nicht mal genau. No igaljuhul see, kuidas elu lukkukeeramine tabas paljusid inimesi valusalt, on ka siin raamatus teravalt esindatud. Me vs Brain incorporates the humour and creativity of her videos into written form making for an easy-read. Also, the audio quality for the 'voices' of various body parts was really bad, and really 'tinny' - not what I would expect from an audio book. After that the novelty wears off and it's essentially a comedic autobiography that's more cringe than funny.

I have been a fan of Hayley’s videos for a while and discovered her less-serious approach to creating content unique from other creators. I loved this book it makes me laugh and reassure me that other people feel anxious and incredibly embarrassed most of the time. The Century list includes brand-name novelists such as James Patterson, Karin Slaughter, Lisa Jewell and Katie Fforde, and we are also proud to be publishing compelling and powerful debut novels such as Wool by Hugh Howey and Until You? Health-Anxiety – während ich sämtliche Teile meines Lebens konstant überdenke, bin ich überhaupt kein Hypochonder. Eventually, after a lot of thinking, I realised that there are almost eight billion people on earth, and surely we’re mostly doing the same things as each other…. Morris has done an amazing job or not only getting across how normal this is but also by putting it into an incredibly funny and engaging way! It was as if she’d been told to include certain things rather than actually drawing them from experience.Autobiographical books are not usually something I read a great deal of, but this had an intriguing approach that discusses topics of growing up, in a comfortable and reassuring style. If I'd realised beforehand that this was by a tiktok comedian then I probably wouldn't have picked it up. And yes, we're all walking around saying embarrassing things constantly and waking up in a cold sweat at 3am thinking about them. The blog is here to share our love of books and the bookish world, alongside our other passions in life.
