Credit to Shanise and George for having such an adorable cat, managing to convert this dog lover to a proud cat sitter) A lasting reminder of what passionate students can achieve in her Science Communication course, Professor Joanne O’Meara keeps on her desk the “Physics of Superheroes” book that Kaitlin co-authored for her final project. Kaitlin was very proud to be one of the four students in the course to have her story chosen to be published on the popular Canadian science blog Science Borealis, and Prof. O’Meara reflected that Kaitlin was, “one of those students who left a lasting impression. She was admired and will be missed by her physics family.”

She was entirely fascinated when she set foot inside the White House Briefing Room for the first time. She found herself fantasizing about the days when she would be among the reporters who would be able to raise her hand from the first row to ask questions. Her dream turned into reality when The Daily Caller named her White House correspondent in January 2017. Let us on your imaginary forces work. A young girl puts aside her dolls to play soldier, leading her sister, friends and family through the harrowing and heroic saga of Shakespeare’s Henry V. A long-time member of the Pacific Theatre community, Kaitlin began her theatre career in 2009 as a PT apprentice. PT stage highlights include a provincial tour acting in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by Ron Reed and directing both the Canadian premiere of Mother of the Maid by Jane Anderson and the sold-out hit Kim’s Convenience by Ins Choi. Kim’s went on to have multiple remounts and tours with the Arts Club Theatre, and the production won the 2022 Betty Mitchell award for Outstanding Production in Calgary, AB. Kaitlin’s recent PT highlight was directing Will Eno’s Wakey, Wakey, nominated for five Jessie Richardson awards in 2022, including Outstanding Production. Pacific Theatre was established in 1984 by a group of actors who wanted to establish a non-propagandist professional theatre where they would be free to explore work having particular meaning to them as Christians.

Produced by Christian Ching. Direction and Dramaturgy by Larisse Campbell. Performed by Sarah Higgins, Ella Storey, and Jamie Sweeney. Co-created by the team. The last thing for any of us, I think, will be silence. In solitary confinement behind the Iron Curtain in post-war Romania, three prisoners are trapped in darkness and tortured for their beliefs. The Messiah is an exuberant Nativity-play-gone-wrong, appropriate for ages 5 to 105. Some jokes may go over younger audiences’ heads. A pregnant nun, a strangled baby, an inquiring legal psychiatrist, and a determined Mother Superior. A messy and mystical search for the truth. I had no experience being on television,” Collins said in an interview. “I didn’t know how to put the mic on. I didn’t know ear pieces. All these things look so easy, but it’s so much more complicated.” Kaitlin Williams is an interdisciplinary theatre artist born and raised on the unceded, shared territory of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh nations. Since earning her BFA in Acting at the University of Victoria, she has shared her heart and skills with many productions as a director, actor, and costume designer.

The day [Donald Trump] was inaugurated was my first day covering the White House, and it was obviously an adventure that started that day,” she recalls. Over four decades, Pacific Theatre has become renowned for thoughtful, boundary-pushing theatre that explores the hard questions at the root of humanity. Under the vision of founder Ron Reed, the company expanded into a staple of the Vancouver professional theatre community, nurturing some of the city’s finest artists, designers, and technicians. Since moving into the 1440 space, The Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards Society has extended over 190 nominations to Pacific Theatre productions. A US soldier stationed in Iraq writes home and finds that caring can be just as hard as not caring as he reflects on his friendships with the locals in Baghdad. Throughout the past 36 years Pacific Theatre has developed dozens of new plays through in-house readings and workshops, bringing many of them to their world premieres. Plays developed and produced at Pacific include Espresso, A Bright Particular Star, Prodigal Son, Navy Wife, Tent Meeting, Cariboo Magi, Mercy Wild, Book of the Dragon, Suitcase Stories, Bar Mitzvah Boy, Jesus Freak, Gramma, and Tolkien, many of which have gone on to subsequent runs at other professional theatres around the world. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated, and please consider becoming organ donors. The Department of Physics is heartbroken to share the untimely passing of 2018 Physics graduate Kaitlin Williams on January 19th while attempting to recover from a heart surgery at the Ottawa Heart Institute. Kaitlin enrolled in the University of Guelph as an Animal Biology major but discovered her passion for physics during first-year classes taught by Professor Martin Williams, who fondly recalls the constant laughter and sense of humour that Kaitlin displayed during visits to his office hours. These traits would be a hallmark of Kaitlin’s 4 years at Guelph!

Described as a “conversation on the nature of evil,” Crime and Punishment is the story of Raskolnikov, a university dropout obsessed with a theory and ravaged by poverty.

Who Is Kaitlan Collins?

The unexpected appearance of a Narrator in Shelby’s life draws her into a whimsical world just beyond the skin of ours, forcing her to reimagine herself as the (reluctant) hero of her own story. As she faces both the mundane and the monsters, she must choose to either face her deepest fears or run the other way. An Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) conduct and competence committee decided to strike off the social worker after three children were taken into emergency care after she falsely told her manager their mother threatened to kill her children, kill herself and burn the house down. Two teenagers’ sexual awakening has been severely hampered by the fundamentalist fervor that runs like power lines through the Bible Belt.
